2010 license numbers are available and I am at the club on Tuesday and Thursday for the rest of January but then only on Tuesday from February onwards for people to come and collect their 2010 licenses and to rejoin the club. The good news is that CGA have finally received the 2010 licenses and I can go and collect our clubs numbers next week on Monday, so I shall have them with me at time trial on Tuesday 19th January and then we can finally get started with getting people signed up for 2010.
The club had a problem with their access control system last week and I know that some people’s cards would not work – including mine – if you do have a problem with your card you need to phone Riette at the estate office on 011 465-7731 and she can check to see if she can fix it up for you over the phone.
Welcome back to all those who were away over the holiday season. Hope you all had a great time, and perhaps managed to fit in one or two runs. And good luck to those who have set new year’s resolutions.
Its back to the grindstone now, and the miles will start increasing week by week. A reminder that FRR is going to focus on Comrades this year (sorry Ian), and it will be our main event for the year. We have 133 entries, which could still increase with new members joining.
We look forward to the new members joining, and we will be arranging an introductory time trial later in the month.
Good Luck to all our triathletes competing in the Half Iron man in East London this Sunday. Have a good race, and hope all your hard training will pay off.
