Dear members,

2011 is here and I hope you are all running. Remember it is the year of “love your running” and to that end, the committee has done a great job of getting things started.

You are all invited to join the committee on the 27th January after the Time Trial for an Information evening. You will be presented with what we as a club have outlined as this years running and social calendar, helping to not only organize your running but introduce you to new events and training. All this with gazebo and support from the club, so be there.

SPRING DAY TIME TRIALS

Wednesday this week, 1^st September sees the first day of Spring which I think we are all welcoming with open arms…. GOODBYE WINTER!!!!  Therefore it is only fitting that we celebrate our first spring TIME TRIALS in style!!!

 Join us on Tuesday, 7^th September for our weekly TIME TRIALS at 18h15, but this time with a ‘SPRING TOUCH’!!

A cash bar will be set up under the Gazebo afterwards, snacks will be provided and it’s also time for a shoe draw, so bring your money to purchase tickets for that new pair of ‘new balance’ running shoes to get you started for the new running season!

All new members …this is the perfect time to join in and introduce yourselves!!.. see  you all there!!

SEPTEMBER SPRING RUN

 Date : 4 September

 Start: Lapamanzi, Fourways Gardens Shopping Centre

 Time : 06H30

 Route: New Route, approx. 21km

 Water tables to be provided.

 Included in the cost is a bacon and egg roll at Lapamanzi and NEW BALANCE Shirts to the first 80 entrants.

 Cost: R100/ entrant

 Registration on the day from 5:15
